The singer is giving full drama on Inauguration Day.
Lady Gaga has made her entrance.
The singer, who performed the national anthem at today’s ceremony, arrived at the presidential inauguration wearing a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture look designed by Daniel Roseberry. The ensemble comprised of a navy, cashmere fitted jacket and skirt in washed red silk faille with a gilded dove of peace brooch. She completed the outfit with Cornelia James leather gloves.
“As an American living in Paris, this ensemble is a love letter to the country I miss so dearly and to a performer whose artistry I have so long admired,” Roseberry, the maison’s creative director, said of Gaga’s look in a statement.
Gaga’s inaugural ensemble comes after she made a dramatic entrance in Washington, D.C., yesterday, wearing a sweeping white cape dress by Givenchy. She went monochrome in a matching turtleneck and face mask, and styled her platinum-blonde hair in a braided updo. Sharing a photo from the Capitol, Gaga expressed her wishes for hope and unity.
“I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans,” she wrote of Inauguration Day. “A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance not fear. A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls. Love, from the Capitol.”

The superstar vocally supported Biden and Harris through the 2020 election cycle, often with her signature head-turning style. Even with a more toned-down look at a Biden rally in Pittsburgh, she still delivered in massive platform boots and a bejeweled face mask.
And let’s not forget the wardrobe she pulled out while encouraging her fans to vote. Aside from her various voting outfits (three, to be exact), she also revived the most iconic ensembles from her career, including the meat dress, her “Poker Face” bodysuit, and her sparkly number from Super Bowl LI.

Today’s inauguration attire might just be the latest addition to that famous list.
