Georgia Coastal Artists Guild will have its fall show from noon to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays Oct. 1-31 at Goodyear Cottage in the Jekyll Island National Historic Landmark District.

Under the Oaks, a half-marathon, 10K and 5K to benefit St. Simons Christian School, will be held in the Jekyll Island National Historic Landmark District. The course and all three races are USATF-certified. Details and to register: undertheoaksrun.com.
Deana Carter, a country artist, will present a live acoustic performance beginning at 8 p.m. at the Historic Ritz Theatre, 1530 Newcastle St., in Brunswick. Second Saturday Golden Isles will be from10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at I-95 Toyota, 1000 Millenium Blvd., in Brunswick. The event will feature arts and crafts, food trucks, and live entertainment from Kellie & The Kruze-O-Matics, Skeeter Truck and Idle Hands beginning at noon. Free admission. Proceeds will benefit Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia.

Running of the Bulls Charity Redfish Tournament will begin at 6:30 a.m. each day in the parking lot at Coast Guard Beach, St. Simons Island. The first cast will be at 8:30 a.m. and lines in is at 4:30 p.m. Registration is $65 for adults, $35 for youth (15 and younger). All youth participants must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Social events will include a free kickoff party with music, food trucks and drinks, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at Silver Bluff Brewing, in Brunswick, and an awards ceremony from 6-11 p.m. Oct. 10 at the TreeBar at Bennie’s Red Barn. The Hunt Ball, to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Glynn County, will be held from 5-9 p.m. at Frederica Golf Club. The event will feature classic Southern cuisine, bourbon tastings, an open bar, artists and artisans, live falconry and hunting dog demonstrations, weapons exhibits, a live auction and musical entertainment by the Salt Water Gypseas.
